The Person
My name is Chidubem — though most know me as VineTheAlchemist. Born from Igbo lineage, raised in South London, shaped equally by both. The discipline of one world. The rhythm of another. That duality never left me — and it lives in everything I make.
I came to DJing through curiosity and stayed through obsession. Five years of recording sessions, late studio hours, and sets that move through R&B, Hip-Hop, Afro, Dancehall, Afro House, and Garage — not because the genres overlap, but because the feeling does. My sets are built around emotional progression. The crowd doesn't always know why the room shifts. That's the point.
I studied Computer Science. I understand how attention moves, how audiences are built, and what it takes to make something last. This is not separate from the music. It is the music, one layer up.
